Alamaailman Vasarat in Tokyo – ASAKUSA VASARAT!
Starting on Friday 5th of April, there’ll be interesting things happening in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan – Alamaailman Vasarat will hit the district with full force! There will be a special Alamaailman Vasarat Cafe with photo exhibition of the band, a Finnish cooking class and great Scandinavian merchandise for sale. The band will do an acoustic set on a river boat with Sakuras lining up the river bank!
On Saturday and Sunday Alamaailman Vasarat will perform at Asahi Art Square for full super-energetic shows! Don’t miss this one, head here for more information and tickets!

Alamaailman Vasarat at Kiasma-teatteri on March 28th!
This special gig in Helsinki’s Kiasma-teatteri on the Eve of Easter Holidays (March 28th) features the band playing a lot of music, old and new – and in two acts. Sometimes creepy silent, sometimes deadly loud! There will be video projections and even some surprise guests.

New Year’s Eve with Alamaailman Vasarat music!
To our Finnish fans: If you happen to be at Senaatintori on New Year’s Eve today, there’s a huge fireworks and pyrotechnics show, together with lots of other acts and music. Part of the act contains a newly recorded and angry version of our song Mielisaurus, originally from the album Huuro Kolkko. You can watch the show on channel TV1 starting on 23:05 all the way past midnight. Or check it out later next year from YLE AREENA (only for Finnish viewers). Enjoy and have a great New Year!

Our latest release VALTA is one of the four EMMA award nominees for the best World music album of the year 2012 (in Finnish – Etnoalbumi 2012). This big Nordic happening is in March 2013 and then we will know the lucky winner! Wish us luck!
